Building & owning backend systems for airline departure control and flight management. Led an SLA breach resolution that now saves €150K/yr, shipped a go-live flight-status dashboard, drove a full middleware migration across multiple apps, and acted as cross-team POC across 3 sites for a zero-downtime data migration.
Designed and built an end-to-end event-driven data pipeline streaming real-time passenger & baggage data from check-in to flight management — replacing a poll-based mechanism with live CDC. Architected with Kafka Connect + Debezium on MongoDB, containerised the full stack with Podman. Presented at internal showcase; outcomes fed into production roadmap.
